Holly Burns is a Los Angeles-based actress, improviser, and writer. A proud two-time graduate of UC Berkeley, she holds a B.A. in English and an M.J. in Journalism.
She has appeared in a range of film and television projects, including the charming comedic short WHO KNEW?, the true-crime drama JAMESY BOY—a personal story connected to her family—THE SHATTERING, a horror film where she flexed her early scream queen chops, and the comedic series LADIES LIKE US, inspired by the all-female improv team she performed with.
She has written for the Townsend Center for the Humanities and The Daily Californian. During her time at CAL, she was a recipient of the 2023 White House Correspondents’ Association Scholarship. Her audio writing and hosting work has been broadcast by NPR sister station KALW 91.7FM and KALX 90.7FM radio.
