Holly Burns is a Los Angeles-based actress, improviser, and writer. A proud two-time graduate of UC Berkeley, she holds a B.A. in English and an M.J. in Journalism.

She has appeared in a range of film and television projects, including the charming comedic short WHO KNEW?, the true-crime drama JAMESY BOY—a personal story connected to her family—THE SHATTERING, a horror film where she flexed her early scream queen chops, and the comedic series LADIES LIKE US, inspired by the all-female improv team she performed with.

Holly continues to hone her craft through ongoing training at The Groundlings and Stan Kirsch Studios.

Known for her versatility in both comedic and dramatic roles, she brings a collaborative spirit, strong work ethic, and deep passion to every project she takes on.

She has written for the Townsend Center for the Humanities and The Daily Californian. During her time at CAL, she was a recipient of the 2023 White House Correspondents’ Association Scholarship. Her audio writing and hosting work has been broadcast by NPR sister station KALW 91.7FM and  KALX 90.7FM radio.
